Module 1: Lesson 1
Introduction & Meet Margot
Good morning, ${name}
Welcome to My Mindful Kitchen and The MMK Method! Today marks the beginning of your first lesson, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to Margot.
With over 25 years of experience as a professional chef, a degree from the Natural Gourmet Cookery Institute, a B.S. in Biology from Columbia University, and certification as a Holistic Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, Margot will be your guide every step of the way.
As you already know, the goal of the program is to help you bring mindfulness into your kitchen… and, in doing so, help you save money, enhance your well-being, and positively impact the health of both your family and the planet.
Setting Yourself Up For Success
You’ll receive bite-sized emails from me every few days during the course, letting you know that you’ve got access to new content. I encourage you not to rush… mindful change is about building new habits thoroughly and effectively, and it’s not a race!
To set yourself up for the most successful experience possible, commit to spending time each day with the course’s content.
On mornings you wake up to a new email, sit with the ideas that it introduces, and think about how you might best introduce them to your family.
On mornings “off”, challenge yourself to work on integrating what you’ve learned into your family’s routines; this is definitely a course best experienced through doing, not just reading!
Meet Margot
For this first lesson, I’ll introduce you to my friend, Margot Schulman: a Mindful Foodie herself, as well as a chef and a busy mother of two teenagers. Together, Margot and I will help you explore the art of mindful living through the lens of our kitchens.
Margot and I created this course because we've seen how transformative being a mindful foodie can be in bringing more happiness and positivity to the lives of so many people we've worked with.
We couldn't be more excited about sharing it with you!
Should you ever run into any trouble, please reach out to our Facebook group... or you can email me directly at janet@mmkmethod.com.
Thanks so much for being here. I can’t wait to see what you do!
To your continued success,
Janet
