Module 2: Lesson 1

Introduction to Organizing and Storing

Here is where the fun begins!

I hope this has been a helpful introduction to food organization! We'll cover off on several of these topics in much more detail later this week, but we wanted to share now a list of supplies and tools that you might find helpful as we get deeper into this module.

An organized kitchen can significantly reduce stress and save money by making everything you need easily accessible and visible. When your pantry and fridge are neatly arranged, it’s easier to see what ingredients you already have, preventing overbuying and minimizing food waste. This means fewer last-minute grocery store trips, less money spent on duplicates, and more confidence in meal preparation.

Plus, a clean, well-organized space creates a calming environment, turning cooking from a chaotic chore into an enjoyable part of your day.

Remember: being a Mindful Foodie is NOT about buying more of the latest and greatest. That said, these are tools both Margot and I have found helpful to have on hand, and you might find it helpful, too, as we dig more deeply into organization.

Watch the video and listen to Margot explain.  Also, make sure you download the MMK

During the lessons in this module, you might start finding lots of tips, approaches, and ways to make this method your own. I always want to hear from you, and I want to remind you that these tips in particular are perfect for sharing in the Facebook group. See you there!
